Leah Ledford obtained her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in 2000 with a magna cum laude distinction. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2004. While in law school, she served as the President of Delta Theta Phi from 2003-2004 and was an Executive Board Member of Moot Court Board.
Leah was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2004. She is also admitted to practice in both the Southern and Northern Districts of the U.S. District Court in Mississippi, the Fifth Circuit, and the Choctaw Indians Tribal Bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar and Mississippi Defense Lawyer Association. Leah is AV Preeminent rated through Martindale-Hubbell, and has been identified as a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2015
Leah has been employed with Scott, Sullivan Streetman & Fox since 2004, focusing her successful practice in medical malpractice, premises liability, mass tort, nursing home liability and other defense litigation. She has obtained favorable rulings for her clients on dispositive motion practice, and has litigated cases successfully through trial in all areas of her practice.
Leah resides with her husband, Bryan, and their four daughters in Madison, MS
